Hey how is it going! Just joined been looking for a while for a forum where I can join and find some useful info to hopefully help me along on my future build! A little background story. Im a 16 year old kid who Daily Drives a 04 mustang gt. My mom bought a 98 4runner brand new and has piled a shit load of miles on the thing. Its running strong with 170K miles! Well she got a new car and so I have for lack of better words stole it from her;) I plan on building it up to a beast of a crawler and have some fun with it! Im all ears for any advice you guys want to give me towards a build and what not. Hopefully I can learn everything I can about it.

Welcome! That's a beautiful car. But it's a Ford so it instantly becomes a piece of shit :D

I love the third gen runners. Was looking at getting one for a while but things changed and I ended up not. Good luck with the build.

Any reason for not getting one? I have yet to see a badass 3rd gen crawler :( Thanks for the warm welcome though!

Thanks for the welcome, not too sure excatly what you want maybe ask some questions and I can probably answer them, its just your basic 98' runner, automatic transmission with the v6 engine. 4x4 of course ;) as far as plans for it I just want to build it up to a badass crawled like the one posted above. I eventually want to do and auto to manual conversion and throw some 1 ton axles under it on some 38s. And a long way down the road, or trail ;) I want to do an exterior cage.
