New guy from Round Rock.

New to wheeling but not to off roading. Being a California native I grew up loving off road baja racing, long travel suspension and all that stuff. Decided to give Texas a try about three years ago and was really bummed there was no were close to haul ass in my F150 with Long Travel. Anyways got a great deal on a 1996 purple 4runner and slowly started adding mods.

I got to meet some of you guys this weekend at hidden falls. Hope to attend other meets and learn the art of wheeling.

Heres my ride "BARNEY"
-1996 4runner 2.7L 4 banger 5speed manual
-Self made front tube bumper with winch mount XRC10
-Sonoran Steel 1.2 lift
-Rear Powertrax Locker 4.56 gears soon to be 5.29
-LMC header
-Self made hybrid rock sliders 1.88 square tube and 1.20 DOM tube

Yeah, went down with you guys down midnight run trail, than I had to bail cause my buddy with his taco and open diffs got hunged up some rocks. I was peaking inside your 4runner when you flashed them sick rear lights on me.

I was wondering what happened to you! We went down Bronco Buster and it was BAD ASS.. definitely some good pucker factor for the 3rd gens..

haha it has been there a couple times but not for that. The box just bolts right to the underside of the bed, doesnt go very far down.

Haul bikes? You better crate up that 2.7 and drop in a 3.4. Oh, and don't worry about disposing the 2.7, just let me know when it will be on your side yard (and please swap out the ECU and harness).
