I just added my fridge... well it's currently my bar fridge. I need to do the power to lighter anytime mod, I guess that is next. ;)

I have hood struts to install.
Ditch light brackets to install but I'm waiting on lights.
Need to mount axe/shovel and Hi-Lift

Do yourself a favor and run a dedicated power lead from the battery to the fridge with 8ga wire. Other wise you'll be dealing with voltage drop. And definitely upgrade your battery. Stock battery won't last long. Mine ran the fridge 24/7 for about two months. Now its worn the battery down to the point where if my truck sits more than about 14 hours it won't start. I need to get a new one soon so I can put the fridge back in.

Fridge probably won't be staying in my truck 24-7. I kind of like have a bar fridge. It'll only be in there on longer expedition trips or camping trips.

Guessing you might have missed the part where I mentioned I am upgrading my battery. ;)

I'm also getting a solar kit hopefully sometime this year. Solar kit will keep the fridge going on the longer stays when the truck isn't running.

You say you live in Canada but it sounds a lot like Texas weather. How are the tires for mileage life?

Sure diddly it does!

We shave our polar bears and our igloos melt.

All kidding aside, yes, it can get that hot. In April and May this year we had temps at the 90 mark so I'm a bit afraid of what the hottest part of summer will bring.

I have dual batteries, big ass group 31 in the back with an 85 watt solar panel to keep it charged up. I've had an ARB fridge running 24/7 in the truck for about 2.5 years or so. Highly recommend a second battery.

I have a similar setup as well, works great.

How many months a year are the trails open up there in Canada? Curious if the majority of the wheeling you do is in snow.

Depends on the trail. Some are all year. Some are May to December. Some are December to March.

Oddly enough no... most trails here are rock, dirt, mud, and sometimes snow. We only have a few months with lots of snow. Winter wheeling was a bust this year. We didn't get much snow. Sometimes the snow can be epic.
