Plus you will have more hours in a heavy which probably looks better on an application to a major airline.

Yeah, they put the fighter pilots on a multiplier in order to make the their hours on a competitive playing field with the heavy guys. Fighter pilots don’t fly as much, but when they do, they are under a much higher workload since they’re by themselves doing everything that a crew of two or more would be doing. Heavies just seem more my speed. I don’t think I fit the “fighter jock” personality.

I recall when I asked Arkansas for a vacation guide they sent me a HUGE envelope full of stuff. Pretty awesome.

KC-135 and C-17. Heavies are my choice, I haven’t reached out to any fighter units.
And know I was a Manager for the structural and electrical development of the C-17. I like to think of it as a badass offroader that also has wings. :)

When I was in Alaska I would take rides with Blackhawks and the pilots where always going down low to scout for places to hunt moose. :)
I had a boss that was an F4 pilot. He used to be the guy that would go get clams, crawfish, etc - all stuffed in external fuel tanks. :)
I love titties flying fast planes get me more titties.jpg

He was CEO, I was VP/General Mgr of a division of a company. We both would work late then leave at the same time so that we could race to the beach cities! lol :)

We went over to Holland TDY one time. It was illegal to bring Tulip bulbs back into the states. Not a problem.. pop open the panel that the SRD is in (only 1 in 5 had a signal data recorder but all A/C had the panel) and stuff full of bulbs.
