Seal em and you can run any H3 lamp. I run the Siverstars but they are a bit more than 16 beans. I like them because they put out real white light.

I run H3 bulbs in my Hellas and I dig them

Yeah, I use to go through the 510's bulb's like crazy..........sealed them up and havn't blown them since.

I hvn't had one go out on the 525's yet, and I hope I don't cause those replacement PIAA bulbs are $45 a piece.

I just got a set of these for the Raisin. 100 watt VisionX halogens. They are a little bigger than I expected. They have the flood light pattern.. no idea how bright they are yet. They are going to be facing backwards so I don't run over people or anything at night.

They are designed to be upgradeable to HID, the lens even has the letters HID on it.

Awaiting another set of similar yet oval VisionX lights with a different light pattern.

So I spent the night reading about lights again & ended up grabbing Narva RangePower+50 Ultra High Output bulbs for my Piaa's, Hella's, and my headlights. They offer the highest LEGAL lumen rating available for any bulb I researched @ 1150/1895 Lumens. Silverstarts are at 910/1500 Lumens. The life of the Narva is also rated at 100 hours longer (140%) then a Sylvania Silverstars. I'm going to fix the BHL lights Craig gave me, add in some braces for the headlights so they don't jump, and seal the Piaa's so when I throw in the new bulbs these suckers last hopefully.

Just ordered 2 of the 100W bulbs aswell for my 510's. Will swap them out for more output. Nice find Boyd.

While this site (http://store.candlepower.com/) looks like it sucks and I was a little weary of ordering from them i received conformation of my order immediately via e-mail and my order shipped out complete today (less then 20hrs later). Time will tell if the bulbs are actually worth it or if I was duped by propaganda.

The IP rating on yours is an IP-68 (6 signifies 100% dust tight an 8 for immersion beyond 1 meter)
