My first bearing was covered but that was the only one, it technically falls under powertrain warranty but I was later denied cause of the wheel spacers which seemed reasonable to me. It's stupid easy if you have a press just get one of those with a life time warranty and keep the receipt thats what I do now.

What'a a warranty?

I could not tell you what'a warranty is, I know the dealer tried like hell to get me to buy one. Started out at $1500, then$1000, then $750, then $600........I told the salesman that it was a waste of $$ b/c if it broke I would want to fix it myself anyways. What do you know, I've had my Tacoma for almost 5 full years now, 56K miles on it & never been back to the dealer except to buy an oil filter from the parts department.

I am so with you! I hate to admit it but my other car came with free maintenance for 3 years (I think) and one time I did the brakes myself just 'cause I didn't want the hassle of wasting a morning and an afternoon (drop off/pick up).
