Last night not a good time to do it after all. Apparently some people can die when stung....just glad I'm not one of them. Wasps or hornets or whatever they are built this nest in about 3-4 days and they are HUGE, but no one was home when I served my eviction notice

you could prob add them. up here the humidity + glasses + me huffing and puffing from running around is not a great combo. here's mine that I added. I run a visor so they are pretty well protected. it's off in the pic to fit in the case. little 9v battery on the side with a switch in the back of the battery box for high/low/off

Yeah I could prob run the same set up on mine if I added a visor. Its plenty humid here too, I'm always fogging up.

Going to a local field Saturday now that the temps dropped. Tried to get a group together but everyone's "busy"...... IDK - seems like a pretty safe covid sport to me so no idea why everyone's afraid. Everything is outdoors and my only contact with anyone is going to be paying/buying paint in the AM and getting air a few times a day all of which is pretty darn safe IMHO and I'm a pretty paranoid guy. Only guy thats in so far just broke his hand a few weeks ago but he's down for any outdoor hobbies all the time lol

& it's woods ball so if you gotta piss - find a tree.

I run 4,500 psi tanks and most run 3k so I rarely even see a line for my psi prior to coof. All the rental people run 3k.

Only thing Ill be doing differently than pre-Coof is packing my own lunch instead of buying there.

Even if it is just my buddy and me, we will have fun. Sometimes less is more. It's usually 2-3 guys that make the difference between winning/losing at the front of the lines or on the flanks anyway.

Yep, that's my favorite thing to do is flank and be as aggressive as possible lol

it's always more fun that way. even with friendly fire from the people who never leave the starting bunkers while you push up :machinegun:

We played today for 7hrs and to my body it feels like 40hrs lol

I do not expect much to get done tomorrow around the house besides inspecting the couch.

Drinking a ton of water/minerals now so I can re-hydrate before I down some beers to take the pain of growing old and being out of shape away.

My car smelled like a high school gym locker on the way home....had to hose down my pants and shirt before I put it in the wash I got sprayed with so much paint. Had some real good shots on our team and on the opposing team + a great set of refs so it made for a really great day of play.

Wasn't until 2pm that the rental people from NYC showed up and ruined the competitiveness cause noobs with no idea of any tactics, rules, or marker operation.

First time in a looong time I blew through a case of paint in a days play.

and as usual after a days play I had to go buy some gun parts I really don't need. I was breaking paint but suspect it was just crap paint so I decided to get a soft bolt to upgrade my metal bolt. Also some new valve came out that lessens trigger pull by 80% so with that of course I needed a custom trigger so I can
pre set the travel setting, post travel setting, and actuation point setting. Going to make it as hair trigger as possible with maintaining the safety's operation. Stock trigger is just OK. This should help ramp up my rate of fire and the valve "may be" more efficient on air.....science is still out on that one, but initial testing shows they are not as loud and do not let off air for as long as the OE valve by milliseconds.

yea not the kind of trigger I'd ever buy for a fishing rod.

Put in a new rubberized bolt thats supposed to be softer on pushing paint. theoretically it seems to me the metal bolt from the "cheaper" gun would have cost more to produce with all the milling and that the rubber bolt from the "expensive" gun costs less to make...... prob does and they just sucker us in
upload_2020-10-1_21-32-15.png

dropped in the new valve and trigger.

upload_2020-10-1_21-36-43.png

specks I set it to lol

actuation: immediate
pre travel: none
post travel: none

about ten minutes ago I walked outback and let three shots off and I think the last two were me just flinching after the initial pull :machinegun: Def not the way you would ever want real trigger set up

Ill tweak it in the am when I can get a few strings of shots off. Almost positive my gravity/pals hopper will need to go out of rotation and Ill need to break out the electric hopper to keep up.

got take up/break set this afternoon after lunch so its got a little weight before firing... old multi dimpled crap field paint so it's all over

upload_2020-10-2_12-17-56.png

while setting the overtravel I dropped my darn allen key and it went right through a gap in my deck... so thats a goner. Not taking out 22 screws and a 18' long board.
