These next ones are at a Boy Scout camp i went to as a kid. its not used anymore.

This is the road going down into the canyon, hope you dont mind some Texas pin-striping.

Down at the bottom of this next picture is where the camp is, you cant see it because of the brush.

Had to get at least one of my dumbass.

This picture probably shows the most of this section of Palo Duro. it was taken facing NW. But this is only one little tiny section of the canyon, and not even the good part.

This is the actual decent

This section is prone to rock slides, When i was a kid i use to help clean the rocks off this road.

This is new, it is a porta-shitter. God Bless them damn boy scouts.

IMG_0739.JPG

This is the one and only part of the trip i had to put it into four wheel drive.

IMG_0742.JPG

IMG_0743.JPG

This is the creek bed, about 10 years ago it was safe to wheel down this creek, however, it seems to be flowing with water now. and i read up on a new Texas law where you can only wheel in a creek bed if that creek crosses a state border, this does not. i doubt you could get down there now, erosion is a bitch.

IMG_0744.JPG

I built this bridge when i was about 11 years old. kinda washed out now.

IMG_0746.JPG

I tried chopping this tree down a long time ago, even got drunk and tried burning it down. it finally came down with a ford powerstroke. (my brothers)

IMG_0747.JPG

good place to go rappelling from.

More of the creek bed

I was trying to see if there was a place to get the truck down, no luck but, if you have a quad, might be pretty fun.

These pictures were taken off of County Road 29. it loops Caprock Canyons state park on the south and west side. if yall do ever come here bring some bolt cutters, the place was fenced and gated all along the CR but looks like there is some good wheeling inside the fence, just need to cut that lock.

IMG_0761.JPG

Never got out of 2 wheel drive, and i think i could tow a camper down this road.

IMG_0762.JPG

Saw a nice buck over in the bushes.

This is a nice paved road in the middle of nowhere, just pops up out of nowhere, for no reason.

Looks like a good time could be had there. Nothing real hardcore, but I am sure we can find something.

No, she checked out, but she is still a pup, so we'll see. from what i understand that whole litter was a mistake.

Good to hear she's OK. Good breeders won't mate merle-merle & the bad ones end up destroying a good part of the litter due to genetic defects...

Gorgeous dog though...

Sorry to hear about your last dog and you are absolutely right!!! They want to just make sure their owner's don't get out of shape!!! I should own one right about now!!!
