Yeah, I'm locking the front of mine too. Just recently made the decision. The ATRAC does very impressive things but a true lock just can't be beat. I'll also have high clearance front and rear bumpers.

Would you guys be interested in another one next summer? I must tell you in advance that I already took you on some of the best and most famous stuff in SW Colorado. I've still got a few CO tricks in the bag, like Poughkeepsie Gulch for one. The Glade has much to offer for the highly modified. That place grows with you. The more you have to throw at it, the more it throws back at you.

I may be up for another round, depending on a few things around here. I will have 2 weeks of vacation to use up next year, so I could probably squeeze it in. Will the guys from this year have first dibs? I think 10 trucks may be max for a trip like this, after seeing it first hand.

I agree. DIBS!!!! This must be done again. I'll bring the wife next time. My dad had an amazing time, well worth it. I think he set the record for miles traveled since he flew in from North Carolina for this.

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I love the picture of your dad dropping down the ledge with the rear tire in the air. He definitely wins the farthest traveled award!

Maybe next year you'll have the rear end locked?

I'll gladly do that again. It was no trouble at all for me and I had a blast. All I did was invite you guys over to play in my backyard. I'll start up a thread if you think some TO guys may come. Having done it, what parts interest you and others? More Farmington sandstone? More Colorado trails? Pop over to Moab? You've already done some of the most "famous" stuff in SW CO. That doesn't mean its not worth doing it again though. We still need to do Poughkeepsie Gulch too.

Think about it and talk to the fellas to see if you guys can put together a caravan.

I may be able to squeeze another trip in. I was also looking at the pictures last week, and would really enjoy to do it again.

I may only get one big wheeling trip a year, so I need to figure out which one to do.

I'm quickly realizing that my wedding is going to severely limit my mods and any trips I wanted to take this year...weddings are soooo damn expensive!

Definitely start a thread, and we'll get this thing rolling.

The only major expense was gas. I think we came out of this at about $500 if you count all the gas, food, and the one motel we stayed at.

It took this lowland Texas boy a couple days to get over the fact that a wrong line could cost you your life. After that, it was an absolute blast, lol.

Having been without a truck for a long time, I will never forget how fearful I was on this one trail - truck less than a month old and we were going down a hairy trail. Now I know to power through those dealios.

Now I have a new desktop... It's a Jeep but I'm okay with that! :)

I actually got caught up in looking around instead of paying attention to the road, and almost slid off at one point.

It's ok, the jeep is following a line of Toyota so it won't get lost and so it can have something decent to pull it out of a bind...lol:cool:
