That's pretty cool, I've never seen them before but that's way easier then the gages I'm hooking up this weekend.

I've seen them before... just never seen anyone use them. They are neat looking but for the money you are MUCH better off with a Scangage or something similar.

As for replacing the gauges you are hooking up Keith, thats not the case. You still need the sensors to install them, so you would still have to hook all that stuff up.

I like this gauge and the functionality is completely worth it. I have a shop here in town that I am going to talk to this week about one. Personally, I hate the look of the Scan Gauge II and Ultra Gauge... 1: They look boxy and plain. 2: Ultra Gauge looks like a GPS w/ suction cup..... which I despise

The overall appearance so far has drawn me to the DM-200 OBD Gauge just because its CLEAN.

Plus, I'll save and spend the extra money to make my truck look good instead of just getting by with better priced parts.
* edit: this is not meant personally or any other way, only matter of opinion because I dont like how they look for the price...

Oh, It has a wireless remote too!!!

Wireless remote? Shouldn't you be behind the steering wheel to operate it?

but the remote is just so you can change preset modes from the back seat I guess lol, selling point i assume. But yes I am installing it myself, its like plugging in a light...

Yeah, but you mentioned having a shop install it. Its an ODBII connection... pretty hard to fuck up.

I use the remote so I don't have to extend my arm to flip through songs

Yeah, I really should take it easy on my arm. I need it for other things.

I just installed a new head unit, and it has a remote! I use it, just because I have it. Why move, if I don't have to. I'm sure I'll lose it in another week or so...

I like that you can hook a backup camera to it.

Superchips sells one that is similar, based on an Andriod OS device. Its called the Vivid. Supposedly they are going to release just the software, called Avid, so you can install it on any device.
