Redline Shockproof + auto locker= Fail?

I recently got a lunchbox locker and bought some Redline shockproof for when I do the install, but I've read on some of the forums that Redline and auto lockers don't mix. Mostly complaints of loud ratcheting and locking up more often then with regular dino. I was just wondering if any of ya'll have some experience with using Redline shockproof in a rear diff w/ an auto locker?

Run it, if ya don't like it, drain it, and put something else in. Its not like its a whole hell of a lot of fluid, like 3 quarts or something like that.

A lunchbox is not an auto LSD. No clutches.

Just run dino fluid and change it when you change your oil. Its cheap, its easy.

Yeah Keith, you're a tard. "Auto LSD" is brake actuated and therefore has nothing to do with your gear oil selection. Definitely no good for a clutch type LSD.
I never said Auto LSD, I said auto LSD and you know WTF I ment...lol

I ran Redline with my auto lockers and would highly recommend it. It made it MUCH quieter than when I was using normal gear oil.

When did you have an auto locker? I thought you ran selectable on the Taco...

I had one in my Taco too before I re-geared and went ARB. It gave me some trouble because of my bad driveshaft angle.

really load popping on pavment while making Lt hand turns?

Yeah, but being a manual tranny it was even worse than anything you could experience with an auto

I think my M3 may be the last manual (unless I get retro toys or a non-v8 trail toy).
