I've have a super nice airbrush (Iwata) I bought back in about 1985.. it was just over $100 back then. Downside is that the cup is like 3cc.. it's about the size of your pinky finger tip. So it would suck for painting a body. But I am looking for a newer one with more capacity. Don't really want to use a rattle can on it.

I'm glad you said something. Now that I think about it, I have one. It's a Kobalt brand I bought a LONG time ago.

AND I was able to find it!!

Took the little one to the hobby shop today. She was amazed at everything. She saw an Axial scale RC Jeep and was drooling. LOL I don't recall what model it was but it looked pretty cool.

I am pretty sure it was this one... which appears to be not being built anymore.

Ok, got my Viking hawse fairlead in the mail today. Damn thing is too narrow to line up with the mounting holes. Had to use a Warn one and mount it upside down due to space limitations caused by the round tube at the top of the winch mount. Bummer. Also got a metal Marlin Crawler licensed rear bumper installed. Wish it had a receiver tube and shackle mounts. But it's nice.

Instead of buying all those little parts, just buy this printer and make everything ‘custom’ to your rig.

Little JB goes a long way

I have a feeling your 1/10 will be better built than full size trucks lol

I'm waiting for you to find a solar panel and controller in 1/10 lol or Steal one out of a calculator

Oh you know... they sell a scale off-road trailer with a RTT. It would be a good candidate for a solar panel!! Hmm

In the meantime I am gonna 4 link the rear of this thing. :D Thought about keeping it on leafs but if I had kept my 85 4Runner I would have linked it.

Finally started to assemble the 4Runner body. Taking it slow. Working on the interior, primer coat is on. Had to rework the floor to hold those seats. Will rework it some more with some filler putty. Used ultra fine scotchbrite on the body before I primer it and then again before I put the first coat of color on it. Its still wet, but supposed to be satin khaki... not the matte I had on mine. I wanted to be able to see the details better. Anyhow, If I don't like it I'll shoot it with matte clear coat.

Fucking 4 link brackets don't line up with the holes they are supposed to bolt up to. Sent an email to the manufacturer along with this pic.
