This is a one of a kind Rat Rod with an Ultra4 style chassis. It was the cover feature in Crawl issue #52 just a couple months back, and was a hit at the 2015 SEMA show last week. The truck is a '51 Power Wagon cab on a custom tube chassis. The primary cage tubing is 2" DOM based on a .120 2"x 4" rec. tube subframe. The rest of the truck is 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" .120 wall DOM. The tubing on the belly and rockers are doubled for impact strength.
-Engine is a Cummins 12 valve form a '92 pickup(approx. 200k miles) with new Bosch VE injection pump. Pump has been mildly turned up, and has a 3200 RPM governor spring. Bigger 5x.12 injectors, and He351cw turbo from a 24 valve make about 35lbs of boost. Intercooler mounted up front with separate fan
-Transmission is a freshly rebuilt (1000 miles) '99 NV4500 5 speed. New top case and shifter. Custom Southbend clutch.
-Atlas II 3.8 transfercase with 300m input and comp gears. 1410 yoke at rear, flange to 1410 midshaft for front output.
-Front axle is a narrowed and trussed 79 Ford Dana 60(64" WMS). Cryo'd 10" Spicer Super Duty 4.88 ring and pinion on 40 spline ARB. Set up by Jantz engineering with their cover girdle and load bolt. RCV shafts. Solid C's and knuckles. Ford hubs & brakes(all new hardware and bearings) Yukon hardcore hubs. Artec steering arms.
-Rear axle is a trussed GM 10.5 with 30 spline ARB, Yukon gears, and 4340 axles. Chevy 3/4 ton rear discs/calipers. Crane 13 bolt diff cover.
-Suspension is 2.5 x 14" FOA res. Coilovers front and rear(light valving) with FOA 2.5 x 2" bumpstops. PAC Racing springs. Radflo 14" triple bypass mounted on rear trailing arms with coilover. Front is dual triangulated four link.
-Rear 1410 long slip(heat treated chromoly) driveshaft built by Jess at H.A.D.
-Steering is PSC 2.5" x 8" Ram with PSC gear driven pump, remote res., and Howe cooler.
-Rear mounted radiator with dual 12" FAL fans. Coolant routed through chassis. No cooling issues.
-Jaz 22 gallon fuel cell with Holley black lift pump.
-Tires are 41.5" x 16.5" x 14 Pitbull Rocker Radials. 85% tread. Mounted on Trail Worthy double beadlocks.
-Interior has custom upholstered RaceTrim seats. 3" PRP 5 point harnesses with shoulder pads. Autometer GT gauges. Icom race radio.
-The truck has a Ramsey winch in the pictures, but will be sold with a new Warn Zeon 12k with rope.
The wheelbase is 114" with an 80" track width(outside of tires). Weighs 5900lbs ready to run. It has about 2000 miles on it since completion, most of those are road miles. Clear title and plated in Washington state (you're responsible for checking your own fender laws). Drives very nicely on the highway, 65-70mph is pretty comfortable. I've had it up to 90mph.
