what about a bracket arm like this for my idler arm?
i do not have a welder handy. to someone that does, what would those pieces cost to fab up? looks like a
90* bend- with hole for bolt
1.5"x6"x3/16"
1 inch channel with a hole for a bolt to secure it to the idler arm?
what do you guys think?

i have been reading for the last week on how to change the wiring harness on the 3.0 to the 3.4 ecu... and after all that time i still do not know how to do it... i have the manuals and the diagrams, i have the input of people that have done it. 15 different build threads... and i still can not wrap my head around the circuits and relays and grounds and Ib1, x9+, and crap like that.
toyota only solution will make a one but for over 500 bucks... crazy just crazy

yeah but that link will cost like 500 dollars for the pig tail. for my body harness to the 3.4 ecu and engine harness.
ill call them tomorrow and ask again and play the im getting back from saudi routine. i got back like 4 months ago now but may get me a discount. probably not tho

425 for the pigtail harness and i have to ship the body harness to them and wait for the replacement...

Just trying to help you out. Some of the guys on TTORA have used them in the past with great success. They also have headers for that 3.4 as well

Yeah it is an option I'll see what I can do but I will most likely go this route for the plug play method. Unless someone knows how to wire he vehicle and can do it for considerably less( or beer money)

Sometimes its just cheaper to do it and avoid the headache and hours worth of searching for a workaround. My time is too valuable to be spent on bullshit... at least thats what I tell myself when I dump cash into something that I could build myself but don't want to spend the time doing. Plus with the ECU shit, all it takes is one or two fuckups on your part and that $450 seems REALLY cheap.

I don't think they sell performance headers, just Driver exhaust headers

gotcha, from the reading im doing the headers are just another thing that can break. minimal gains and PITA to get in/out if they break/crack. just need 2.5k to get the charger and gauges and ill call it good.

i have the harnesses already, both the complete body and engine...thanks.
my engine is at robs. we have to finish the dip stick tube install and motor mount bracket/ac bracket install and throw out bearing and i should be buttoned up for now.
then the supercharger will go in. when i can do it right
