Shopping lifts, what else do I need?

So my new tires rub just a little and it is starting to get to me.
I am pretty sure I want a set of 5100s, OME or Eibach springs and an add a leaf for the rear.
What else do I need? Shims, carrier bearing spacer or a front diff drop?
Anyone know the best place to order from? I think Downsouth has the best price on the shocks but not sure about the rest.

5100s from downsouth motorsports and ome 885s plus add a leaf from wheelers and that's all you'll need for a lowbuck quality lift

It was some time ago, but the last aal I touched from the cheap place didn't line up, wound up ordering from toytec. No front diff drop, cb drop yes, and 3 degree shims will get you set up right. You don't have to do the front ucas, but if you don't like the Handling after the lift.. you probably will get them at some point.

Not everyone has vibes without shims or cb, but most do.

X2. Best bang for your buck lift.

And everyone has different vibes when lifting. Some don't and some do. CB yes, and I would hold off on the diff drop. You can actually make the CB out of scrap metal and some longer bolts and washers. That's all it is.

And screw the AAL. Save your money and get the dakar leaf packs. Best thing you can do for your rear end. Its rides sooooo much nicer than the AAL.

The only AAL I might consider is the progressive 3 leaf pack style. Gives you the lift and doesn't sacrifice the flex. But really, Dakars are you best bet.

Yea my stock pack with AAL is twisted into almost a W shape now I'm really surprised the main leaf isn't broken.

My aal won't stay straight on the pack.

That sucks - I wonder if you could put some kind of U channel under the pack that could keep them straight?

My plan is to get all new packs. The driver side is shot. The suspension is on the list after gears.

Think...

Thanks for the input on the lift. I may just do the 5100s and 885 springs for now then get the dakars a little later. Trying to do this on the cheap but don't want inferior products that will give me headache down the road. I guess I can always buy parts here and there and pile them in the garage till I have everything needed.

Buy OME shocks for OME coils.
