Those TRD "Beadlock" style rims? Those appear to be pretty stout... but I suppose at speed anything is bound to give in. I saw the wheels you have at Toyota of Dallas (TRDParts4U) and they are sweeeeeet!

I dunno, my TRD rims are actually missing chunks of metal now and they still ballance out and hold air just fine.

Try a small car battery sized rock at 70-75 mph... you know dreaming that I was in a trophy truck going 2x that speed! :D I wish I could say I've only done that once!!! The first (and only other time - so far) was pretty much the same deal - racing with DblCab Mike and his preRunner 'racers!' - I whacked 2 wheels that were less than 24 hours 'new!' Oh yeah, that was a microwave oven sized rock!!!

Yeah, sounds like I heard a compressor kick in towards the top. But damn.. I just hope nobody was injured.

Don't know yet but it sounds like the only human injury was an ego or two!

I guess going slow has some advantages. :)

It may have advantages but I like both!!! I would like to have some kind of roll-over protection... Could you imagine the cost to fix a Taco with all the bags blown!?

Pretty cheap, chop top, add tube, remove said blown bags replace with dummy panels. Then you've got a real wheeler

Can you imagine the noises from Zoom at speed? Wait wait wait.. sorry... I'm sure you can.... but can you imagine the noises from Zoom in a "vehicle" at speed. That alone should be worth doing it. :D

I'll get Brianna out there in Clyde one day.... come to think of it, she has never ridden in Clyde. <a kitten is drown in a pool>.. sad face :( :D

Oh my (crying)!!! The funniest part of it, when we first got together she didn't like when I opened up the M3. She also complained that the ride was too harsh. Now she falls asleep when we're flying down dirt roads or doing Sierras wheeling!!!

I don't know if I commented about this but when we were in AZ we were FLYING down a dirt road with some snow on it and I lost it and started spinning and bounced over the burm. She woke up and said, "Paulie, maybe you should slow down." In away, she's worse than Eddie Haskel when it comes to keeping me out of trouble!!!

I loved that episode... technically they where on the ocean. Sooo. drinking and driving violations didn't exist. But leave it to liberal media to exaggerate the situation. My personal opinion is that they did it for TV... duh. But aside from that they also drive cars at very high rates of speed every week.. should that be taken into consideration as well. Who cares, its great entertainment. :)

That is completely right. This is going to be the problem with the future, everyone's going to fuvking whine about every little thing they can.
And they were drinking to rub it in hammonds face that the truck was better than dogs if I remember correctly.

That is one hell of a situation to be in. I wonder how he got out of it just the same as I wonder how he got into it.
