Tacoma/ FJ front diff with ARB and 4.56

Getting rid of the 2.7L 2006 Tacoma and I'd like to get some money out of the upgrades I've done.

I'm selling my front diff (8" reverse cut clamshell) with 4.56 Gears, ARB locker, Solid spacer. Built by ECGS and still has ~4yrs left in warranty. Originally installed July '09.

I highly prefer local pickup (San Antonio, TX)

Will need your old diff as part of the sale.

I'm thinking about buying a 8.4" Rear axle at a junk yard to put on whatever I get so I can keep the rear diff and get a stronger rear axle.

Hell yeah, get a wider stance too. I have to add spacer to my 87 because the tire rubs on frame at full tuck....

Thats not a bad idea, taco housings are cheap and the stock shafts are nearly indestructible.

Yeah, I doubt a 22RE would break the shafts even with a crawl box and bigger tires.

I'd have to modify your Elocker housing to fit my diff in it. Plus, I don't think I want the rear axle to be quite that wide.

no 07+ tundras have some 9" concoction and I imagine the new 4runner has the same.
