I'm going to try. My dad's off this weekend and he wants to run a trot line and do some trolling. Depending on when he wants to go I may head down when we're done.

I started the build on my bed bar yesterday. It's a pretty simple design but will be useful for many things. Mainly, it will be a mount for a bed light and CB antenna when I finally get one. I have a cool idea to tie a spare tire carrier into it later when I get a full size spare.

Bed bar is on hold for a bit. My dad came up with a better idea for it and I'm waiting on him to get me the material I need from his work.
Other than that, I got a job today so the mod cash should be coming in pretty soon. I've ran into a few times that not having a locker made it difficult or impossible to get through a trail so that's definitely going to be the first major mod I do. Shortly after that will come sliders for some extra protection. I also have no tow points in the rear because I have no trailer hitch so a rear bumper will be the last. Those are really the only three 'major' areas I'm worried about right now. After I have those three taken care of I'm going to start saving for a full set of BudBuilt skids. Well, that's the plan at least...

Locker definately needs to be one of the first mods, you saw the difference at BVORR.
I have a reciever hitch I pulled off of my truck if you need a tow point for the rear.
Glad you decided to keep your truck after all, a locker and tires and these trucks do pretty good.

yeah not having a locker is why my rear springs are fucked...oh'well that just gave me an excuse to get some Dakars...
My whole suspension is shitty. I'm going to add armor and a locker before I mess with it though. It's not getting any worse just not any better so it's one of the last things (and most expensive) that I'll do.
