Couple of new things to add:

Added these a while back



a new set of 285/70/17 Hankook Dynapro RT03 MTs



Added some OME rear shocks to replace the blown 5100s



Installed some Power Stop drilled/slotted rotors and set of pads



Pulled the Lightforce 170's off and replaced it with a 21" LED bar from Blitzpro. Decent bar for the money



Also built a keeper out of a 2"x 8" and a piece of 3/4in plywood to keep my jack from sliding around.

Had a little drive shaft issue this past Sunday. Rear DS slung out in I10W at the beltway at 70 mph. It wasn't a fun situation to say the least especially with the wife in the truck. The Taco is on the road again with a new rear DS. That was a tough tab to pay. The flange in the driveshaft broke. Wired to me as I have never seen one break like that before.

It came completely off with a pretty loud bang.

That's pretty scary. When I had my DS rebuilt, they changed the mating one (without asking me- so the gave it to me for free) 'cause it had a big nick in it and warned me that the same would happen. Well, at least you don't have to weld the new one on.

When it came off did it bounce into anyone? That's some scary shit!! Yours was a two piece right? Did the back half just fall out?

No clue where it went. Just the back half slid off. It Fubar'd the Carier bearing/pillow block. Scary shit for sure.

Funny thing is..
After I finally came to a stop, a car with a flat tire pulled up behind me and another car was broke down on the opposite shoulder. I didn't ask any questions and hoped it was a coincidence.
