Well... I've been there.. dumping tons of cash into rebuilding the Taco after breaking it time and time again. So I see how you can justify it. But.. now that I have a dedicated trail rig, I'll only wheel the Taco to go camping/fishing/expo or to recover the 4Runner. :) Only downside to that PowerWagon is towing it.

What year PowerWagon? Is it yours? That's the issue for me - I have to get rid of some other toys or get a new home if I'm going to get a trail rig and a tow vehicle!

How bout this for a weekend warrior

Had a friend growing up whose dad owned a highway building company. Nice friend to have when you wanted to build a trail, pull something out or just wanted to push some boulders around!!! ;)

If you hadn't got the ECGS deal I would have really liked to see someone do a 14bolt FF rear. I was thinking about it but then ran into a killer deal on a spare rear third member so I opted to have my old one rebuilt with some cryoed goodies but I it ever really becomes a problem again then I'm going to get one.

Just remember that custom axles take a LLLLOOOONNNGGGG time to build. Mine is going to be another two weeks late per Currie when I called on Friday. Thats over a month behind schedule. Oh well these arent off the shelf parts.
