If the fence itself is in good condition and the post is the only problem, a bandaid could be to just put a post on either side of the broken posts.

Ill use a 2x4 to band aid the posts up for now. Prior to that Ill run a furring strip of wood at a 45* angle from the top of the fence post to a stake in the ground about 4' away to help the ban aid.

Same method for setting a post in concrete basically. That's what I did last time I needed to replace posts and attach fence same day while the concrete dried.

Basically this except I'm not setting any new posts and the 45 is attached to the post.

Needed to install a new toilet and ended up needing to move the toilet supply over 3" to fit the new longer toilet at my mom's house. Also took the time while I was there to run a new 1/4" supply line over to my mom's garage fridge for the ice machine (her main fridge is one of those super expensive ones that takes two days to make a cup of ice. I hate that fridge with a passion).

This is before I strapped it in to the rafters.

And it won't let me upload a pic of the new toilet but it's all plumbed in lol

Our fridge in the kitchen is a nice GE Cafe, ice cube maker makes ice quick enough but the storage container is about 12x10x3.. not much ice. Mudroom fridge is a Bosch and I did as you did and plumbed it... huge ice cube holder. But the fucking thing stopped making ice. I suspect its the water filter... don't recall the last time I changed it out. My bad... hopefully. I do have a counter top ice maker that does awesome, when we "had" parties I would fire it up.. makes several batches of ice cubes and put them in the Bosch's storage tray.

My mom's fridge seriously only has enough storage for one or two cups of ice. It's pathetic. And it takes for fucking ever to make it too. So for every family gathering we've had to buy ice since she got that damn fridge.

I headed out early this morning to procure some landscape items. First tracks on the fire road after last nights rain so I'm thinking Ill be all alone in my blueberry bush honey hole.

BTW - wheel bearings....who needs them
upload_2020-5-3_10-6-42.png

get all the way there after checking out one of my favorite beaches and some SOB is camping right in my honey hole. Didn't grab a pic becuase dude was breaking the law. Guess enforcement is lackluster or they are devoting all their resources to telling people to "distance themselves". Saw a TON of LEO's out and about this morning. Also about 100 people with kayaks on their roofs so I'm glad I decided to stay off the lakes today. Ended up being rushed cause the guy was camping so I had to change spots and wasn't able to get everything I wanted. Post some pics when I get them in the ground later today.

I guess nobody can follow rules, this is why we can’t have nice things. They will probably reclose the parks again and I don’t blame them. They gave fair warning.

If I'm still living here in 2 years this 500sqft bed should kick ass for pretty cheap. Finally done planting so now it's Mother Nature's turn to take over.

Not sure what I'm going to do with the 3' tall blueberry bushes I bought direct from the wholesaler on my way back this morning. They aren't going in the bed but I couldn't turn them up for $10 a bush. If I can figure out a home for them in a N/S aligned row I might add some more. Whatever I do I should have no issues w/pollination this year. Got (22) wild blueberry bushes, (5) Heirloom 3' tall bushes, and (2) self pollinated dwarf bushes I planted years ago in the wrong spot that need to be transplanted next to the heirlooms when I figure out what to do.

Wild blueberry short bush's (they like shade) and should spread out pretty good if they take. Roots basically grow sideways then new shoots come up. Don't mind the flywheel - thats my paintball target lol

Tall boys I'm not sure what to do with yet. Might put them infront of my deck... They are already attracting a bunch of bee's because they are flowering

I bought some wildflower seed mix and some other various seeds, 5 years ago from AM also.
I wasn’t very happy with the amount of the germination percentage for what I paid.

also changed out my dual sport battery, the agm I had in there was 10 years old and although there were no issues with it, a new battery is cheap insurance $36

finally sealed off the birds from getting into my lean to soffit. Bastards were shitting everywhere. Some cheap 1/2” plumbing insulation filled the gaps nicely. Eventually I’d like to add some lights and a ceiling out here but for now this should keep the birds from invading it.

i had to go down and check how I ran my ice line, it’s been years since I moved in to think about how I did it. If that was your work I apologize I did not mean to insult it, but I would do two things:

1- eliminate all those unnecessary adapters, those are all future potential leak points.
2 - add an isolation valve, no sense in turning water off to the whole house to fuck with the fridge

So far all my bulbs and shrubs I bought from them have been 100% and are functioning like they should.

Wildflower seed is starting to germinate now after a week. Time will tell. Most of what I planted is native NE regional perennials so they will take 2 years to show up in force. I did go with some annuals for some color and coverage this year that reseed themselves if you cut and drop.

My other grass patch is past the germination phase and already 1-2" tall. I used Scott's shade mix for that and I think on week two or three now. I just changed over from 4-5 light watering's a day to 2 deep waterings because of work and it's time to get them to develop deep roots if they are to make it this summer.

If you farmed on your lot you could possibly get your taxes lowered and possibly bring in another 5 figures a year ($$$$$). Already got the tractor. Time to kill off some of that green grass crap that just wastes time/money/resources and get some life growing in that yard that makes you $$ vs taking it.

Only reason I say that is you got time and cash + youth on your side. Don't slack like me then look back with 'regerts' like I do now when I'm planting. If I did this crap 16 years ago when I moved in my yard would be like Longwood Gardens by now. In less than a decade you could have a heck of a farm system in your yard and we know the soil is good otherwise you wouldn't border a field that produces.

LLC BPF and sell campfire wood and "fresh organic fruits" etc., etc.

Nope, that's the valve I added in. I got all of this stuff off the back of my plumbers truck for free ;) There are two connections where the solder looks like absolute dog shit and those are the two joints I had to solder in place cramped underneath the rafters by myself.

I'm not going to run PEX in this house because the whole house is 100% copper lines already. No reason to introduce PEX into the system for this little job and I got all this stuff for free from my plumbers truck. It'll be a long time before something leaks from these fittings. Especially since they don't have a high pressure load on them, all of the threads are wrapped and my monkey ass tightened them down.
And that valve is the isolation valve for the fridge so I don't have to turn off the whole house to unhook the fridge.

I hate hitting holes like that in the Subaru. Has almost 6" of ground clearance but I was still above my door seal on some of the puddles so a simple stuck would of become a major f*ck
