Ok, thanks. I will definitely have to use some thicker wire, damn raccoons and the foxes here are destructive.
I got a double layer, chicken wire then (goat?) wire over that on the sides. The roof is just the goat wire. I still need to finish tying the two together around the sides and where it overlaps on the roof. The last time I got chickens the damn coons went right through the normal chicken wire and killed all my chicks.

I will have to take a couple pictures of my fence, The wire fence is horse fence with 2” x 4” openings and I amazed with the strength that Ricky Racckie’s have in bending wire.

Not only that; but like a rat, if they can get their damn head through the whole body will fit.

Extra Large Chicken Coop with Run - farm & garden - by dealer - sale

I like this idea, the nests can be accessed from lifting the board and you don’t have to enter the cage area.

I think my rodents have become smarter. As soon as they hear my door open they scatter. I did have one dummy basically walk right up to me yesterday with a acorn in his mouth and stare at me from about 5' away. Lucky for him my safety is loud so when I turned it off he ran away.....they aren't that smart so I waited and he came right back. RIP

Gotta keep it vague cause my state sucks

So if anyone is interested in automated reset-able rodent traps you can get the A24 in North America that's meant for rats and mice. The A18 squirrel trap is not supposed to be imported into North America because its intended design is for squirrels. That said the A24 is identical to the A18 just a little smaller - still does the same exact thing. Little pricey so I went with $11 wood rat traps, but if I had more $$ I;d of gone with the automated version.

Got a crew in today doing the built-ins for the master bedroom closet, so far so good. Also having an electrician on his way over to give us a quote for 5 can lights in the living room (4 on one switch and the 5th on another switch) and adding a outdoor electrical box in the eves with a switch inside. Finally had a guy come out this morning and give us a quote on adding rock rings around the trees and areas with mulch in the front yard. Time to spend some $$ on the crib.

Stopped by Lowes and picked up a rack and hook system from Craftsman to hang my junk up on. Im gonna buy at least one more and a few different hook styles so I can hang up more.

Gonna try and move my heavy ass metal tables in tomorrow and get my vise mounted. Then I can get a little better organized. Gonna build a wall mounted ladder to access the lofts too at some point.

If you part that thing out... what gears does it have? I might be interested in that rear ARB assuming the third member housing isn't rusted beyond saving.

it has 4.88, 8.4” rear end. Brand new.

Tow it to Toyota for the frame recall. Replace the leaf springs and that takes care of 90%+ that I see from the pics. How's the engine?

Engine has around 160k on it, decent shape. Problem is this isn’t my truck so I can’t do a whole lot with it until I get it released from the owner. I’ve been in contact with no response. Possession is 9/10s of the law here

we had a groundhog coming around and I went out and tried to pop him with my .22lr the other day but felt bad because my new neighbor just moved in and he has young kids. Turned out he heard me, said he also hates that groundhog, and sprayed it with a few rounds with his AR-15 today lol He’s also a local member of the fire department. Good to know I have a neighbor who supports responsible gun laws and ownership

I hooked up some definitive technology speakers out on my lean to on the shop. Wired them to banana jacks for easier change later if I decide to move where I have my stereo. Got a 2 zone setup on the ONKYO inside so I can watch tv through the speakers inside and stream music on the outside speakers, I say that’s a win! Later this year I hope to finish the ceiling with some dimmable LED high hats and soffit material

Do y’all have termites up yonder? If you do, no way I would put any firewood next a structure that is built with lumber framing.

Yes, very bad. They just ate through some PT yellow pine 4x4 posts I put in 2 years ago and are in my shed from this exact problem. Them + wind = failed posts.

Every house I have ever lived in has had them and my moms and sisters do now as well. You need to keep an eye out 24/7/365 with these older houses that were made like crap. Back in the day no one thought 1k in stainless steel flashing and good sealing could save you many thousands down the road. Heck I bet 99% of new homes aren't flashed properly to avoid them today ~ Moron track home builders don't care ~ it's all about the Benjamin's. IDK how my foundation was made back in 64* but they come up right through my block into my sill plate if I do not treat regularly. Already replaced 60% of it and entire first story walls. When I redo my windows this summer I expect to also replace entire walls in my living room and bathroom.

Termite control hits me up for over $700 for every application so over my 16 years here it adds up....I need another one now and I think thats 4 total. Supposed to do every year, but I'm cheap and dumb so I wait till they come back and have destroyed more

On another note - every big box store close to me is out of PT posts, t post drivers, and post hole diggers. Hit up HD & Lowes at 7am this morning and nada. Heading out now to my local store and if nothing Ill head to tractor supply now that it's open. If i keep running into road blocks Ill head south to more rural towns.

Last weekend when I was grabbing the t posts they were out of 5/4 x 8 round PT posts... I was going to use some old 4x4's I have but decided against that so they last at least 2 years before getting eaten up. Looking into galvanized posts for my 6' wood fence but I'd like my garden fence gate posts to be wood

In some form or fashion or order, but it’s basically this.

Give DMV plate number and to send reg letter to last known address, also while at DMV go to county or city and file abandonment/mechanic lean/storage lien(what ever is the easiest route is, talk with a tow truck&storage company on the process) on the truck ~$25, document your communications over the years in trying to reach owner, post an ad in the news paper for owner and possible creditors to claim property, back to the court for approval after the ad expires and register new title under your name and pay applicable fees.

after completing all that @Taco Loco will come pick up the entire truck for $800.

I'm done driving around looking for posts. Just hit up another HD and Lowes....screw it. Using the old posts I have. Luckily TS had a T post driver, but their round posts were total splitsville garbage. My local hardware store had one post driver but the owner took it home 2 days ago for his garden and never brought it back to the store. Good guy - said he would bring it back tomorrow if I needed it still lol

Great weather this weekend so far. Got down into the 50's last night and not hot in the daytime either. Today's even better. Time to go work on my neck tan
