You need to suck it up and get A/C in the garage already lol I would've put a unit in mine already if this was my forever home.

I've been close to putting a split unit in mine everytime summer comes around. But I'm only planning to be here another 6 years so I dont really wanna mess with it. Just need to get my fans wired up and hopefully that will take the edge off.

Buy a $150 unit off amazon, cut a hole in the 36"W entrance door to your garage (not the actual garage door itself) and just redneck it lol Residential doors are cheap and if I had one into my garage, I'd have cut a hole in it already lol You can replace the door when you move.

My garage needs help.. I need to spend some time cleaning it up. The kid is heading to grandma and grandpas for 2 weeks on Friday. Might try to get that done before she gets back. As long as the humidity calms its tits down.

will grandma & pa take two more kids?, good kids, hard workers, lol they probably need a break from their parents

I have this saved on my wish list with HD for past 2 months, it’s $719, there are cheaper ones, but the SEER rating is much lower.

12,000 BTU 1 Ton 19 SEER Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump Variable Speed DC Inverter+ System 110/120V

Pioneer 12,000 BTU 1 Ton 19 SEER Ductless Mini Split Air Conditioner Heat Pump Variable Speed DC Inverter+ System 110/120V-WYS012AMFI19RL-16 - The Home Depot

I haven’t started...
I gonna convert 1/3 of my 3 car garage over to small apt, with shower & toilet, if my buddy gets free this week from his other side jobs, he is going to cut drains lines soon in the concrete.

my effort to not mow as much lawn has taken off pretty good so far. tallest wildflower is about 16"

not so sure planting 100+ bulbs, over seeded wildgrass that grows up to 4' tall, 3 young bushes and a holly tree in the same 500sqft bed was a good idea. survival of the fittest I guess. this is mostly low annuals I got to make it look good the first season. Next year when the perennials kick in and flower it should be pretty epic

still waiting for flowers to start in the 1/3 nearest the shed. That gets the least light

oh and as a "wet and forget" update my fences are all back to normal. All the mold is gone.

On my roof all the moss died and most has washed into my gutters with storms.

You gonna check for ticks every time you walk through your yard?

That bed never gets walked in. It's something like 11' x 40' at the rear of my yard.

+ ticks don't care. I can find two ticks on me just walking to my shed when my grass is just cut low or go days outside messing with my beds and find none. I check for ticks every night before I go to bed. Kinda have to these days. Not liek when I was a kid and there weren't all the crazy disease there are these days or maybe we just never knew about them.?.

Also helps when you spray all your footwear with permethrin. Think that reduces the chances of getting a tick bite by 70% or some crazy number.

Stacking burning logs, sprinklers are out, amazing how fast the grass dries out here(14mph wind speed, gust 20+, not ideal for burning now) after we had an hour plus of rain this morning.

poppies starting to bloom along with some other stuff. think I'm going to get more seed this year and go wild in other areas of my yard. the amount of life in the bed is crazy. even chased out a small baby rabbit this morning while watering so thats cool cause I got to see where he was getting in/out of my yard and block off that hole. if my neighbors are allergic to pollen or bees it sucks to be them cause this things loaded with both as well as butterflies

Some cord organization in the shop, these little racks were only $1 at harbor fright, I couldn't even build em for cheaper than that lol

Had a crazy storm roll through yesterday, got some straight-line winds and even some hail, along with a boatload of rain

The winds took down a huge limb off the maple tree out front, I cut it up today and now have plenty more firewood

Also got the horseshoe pit finished up today, amazing how much work you can get done around the house "working from home". Might add a higher backstop to it later on for those that aren't so great at throwing shoes, ready to break it in this weekend :borra2:

Dang...you got walloped

I saw that storm cell way off in the distance when I was on the Walt coming into Jersey. Radio said it was bad.

Here I am in a desert needing rain and you're flooded out.

Your backstops look good to me. I put mine in flush with the ground just for scoring if they throw a roller/bouncer. Few brushed shins or feet here & there, but keeps you on your toes when crappy people throw lol

Just need beer holders now... time to crank up the welder and chase down some horses lol
