Is that a Rental Cooler? Nice Work Jason, when is the sleeping platform going on?

Haha nah, the cooler is mine. When I worked on the beach renting chairs and umbrellas I tried to make it as easy as possible for people to find me yet they would still go right by . As for a sleeping rack i had a though about something I already own. to my recolection my cot tent has its own frame. I am thinking I can just lay it out up there for meets and stuff

The Tent Cot does have its own frame, only the legs drop down. You could put it up there without the legs and have it secure. That was the plan for mine anyhow.

Great minds think alike ( and for themselves yada yada ). Im thinkin the legs still need to be down though other wise the bars from the rack will hit your back.course you could always just put some 2X4s along the frame and it would make you high enough

update for stuff. Should be getting my snorkel in on Thursday and the netting for my rack sometime next week. Hey Sean, wanna cut a big hole in a perfectly good truck with me?

If you say so.. I thought went quick and I didn't have a template. Just drink a few beers and you wont mind where you drill/cut holes. LOL.

You'll need to get the connections for under the hood, unless you already did.

Need to get the hose from the air box to the snorkel. Guy said any exhaust shop will have it for pretty cheap so I am gonna do that. Ya, easy can be a term that turns to hard rather quickly . Hopefully not to bad.

I have another wheeling trip this weekend to Anza Borrego. Should be good. It started as a TW thing but I'm going down with a good friend with a built taco and we're going to wheel on Fri, Sat and Sun and check out the TW thing for some portion of that time. It's fun to look at the trucks and I am sure it would be entertaining to see some of the antics. For now we're going to have a plan B and C.
