I don't really get the inside joke here but it sounds like I should stick with ordering the 90000's.

Eric had 5100s cranked all the way up, with 885 springs then proceeded to break shock on a speed bump.

Oops, that was definitely a bad idea. Wrong way to go for the 5" lift.

I did just help a guy lift his truck a couple of weeks ago. He had 885's and wanted to put his 5100's at 0.85". I figured that was ok but definitely the limit.

I'm doing 886's though. I think I'll just stick with the original plan of getting screwed out of 300+ dollars for a set of shocks.

How is the 886/5100 combination? I've usually heard that's a no no. I currently have eibach coils and 5100's and I'm switching to 886's and 90000's to support the new front bumper. I already have the coils sitting in the garage and I was planning to order the shocks soon here but if the 5100's work just fine, well then...

I have the 886 OME springs with OME shock... and it is very hard... and before, I also had the Stock Bielstein shock with 886 OME and it was harder...

I would stay with the 885...

885's with OME shocks are a great ride with the stock bumper.. But add weight like a bumper/winch and they fall flat. I had that setup.. Went to 886's. It was a stiffer ride but it didn't sag.

No habla por favor :)

IMO the worse the road the better for the stiffer spring.

Jason, have you a catalytic converter?, I see you have
- JBA headers
- JBA exhaust
- JBA midpipe
- Volant CAI with optional scoop
- URD MAF

, as I have no catalytic converter, constantly "check light" is turned on,have that a solution? had you this problem?
I am interested in buying these JBA headers, tell me about it...

nice truck...our built`s are very similar =D

I still have all of the catalytic converters in place so I dont have to worry about that lights coming on. Forgot to take off the volant with scoop as I now have the snorkel haha. I like the headers and would recommend them. Not a primary accessory but if you have the money and want that little bit of power then go for it. I think it helps a lot with my mileage with all of the extra weight on the truck.
