Good to know. I'm going to pass on them. That price falls into the too good to be true category. I'd rather not throw away that money and have to order a decent pair. I'll just fork out the right amount up front.

I'm with @Anathollo and @Silverback. I've drank the Knipex koolaid and theres no turning back. Same with my Wera screwdrivers. I still like me Kleins for use at work. But all my home screwdrivers are now Wera.

So looks like those Knipex are the right ones. They are also listed on Home Depot for about the same price.

KNIPEX 8-3/4 in. Ear Clamp Pliers with Front and Side Crimp Jaws-10 99 i220 - The Home Depot

However, those are out of stock. They do have these though, and they are only $15.

KNIPEX 8-3/4 in. Ear Clamp Pliers with Front Crimp Jaws-10 98 i220 - The Home Depot

Call me ignorant, but what's the difference? The description on one says "front and side crimp jaws" the other just says "front crimp jaws" but they look the same and are the same size :confundio1:

Ok, so I see the difference in them now. The main image on both is the same, but the actual tool looks different. For simplicity sake, I'm going to get the cheaper ones. Hopefully I never need to use them in a tight space. If I ever do, I can buy the more expensive ones.

The images on this page show the front and side much better in all the pictures other than the initial. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...059bc1d82a0453cba49c1bdd625252&language=en_US

Yep, just got my electrician hooked on Knipex Cobra pliers. I let him borrow a set for a day to use and when he brought them back to me, he had already ordered a bunch of Knipex stuff for himself.

I just picked up a pretty good load of MAC and Snap-on tools from my wives grandma. They were her late husband's tools. He was a heavy equipment mechanic so I'll be able to actually put them to use in my shop. Some of the stuff was just old/cool, but for $300 it was a steal. There are probably a few K worth of just sockets.
