Was watching some Youtube video and the guy was using a set of these. Picked up a set for under $25. Pretty slick. I'll try them out tomorrow when I attach some more solar lights to the pergola.

Also picked up some of these. Saw them on Mike Patey's Youtube channel where he builds badass bush planes. Anyhow, not cheap.

I use to use something similar back in the day for duct work panduit straps.

Oh this was the video I was watching where they used them. This build is pretty damn awesome BTW. Just the amount of craftsmanship that is in it.

My stepdad had one of those. They aren't great at getting in tight spaces. You'll also snap cheap zipties pretty quick or over-tighten stuff. They are cool to have and use a few times and then you'll just go back to using your hands and a knife lol

And I also saw those zipties from Mike as well and looked them up. I noped out when I saw the price lol

Well the ziptie thing is adjustable, so in theory it shouldn't break them... unless you just buy shit zipties. But you are right, probably just use my hand and some flush cut Knipex snips. lol

I tried to get one of them w/my garden fence and they were back-ordered. I H8 the sharp edges when you cut them by hand. Turns an engine bay into a Chinese finger trap but for arms. I'm sure Ill get a scar or two from my garden fence the first time I rub it the wrong way

I thought I lost mine awhile back and I had a pair in my amazon cart ready to go right before I found the snips. Can't live life without em now lol

I'm my own worst enemy...I was using wire cutters so every cable is sharp and at the perfect angle to kill you lol

Been there... like when you wire up a stereo and under the dash you end up turning it into a concertina wire bundle. lol

Holy COW! This guys workshop! Life goals right here.

I also like how he doesn't leave cordless battery chargers on all the time.

I watched that this morning. The shop is a work of art. Not to mention the organizational skills!

I have my chargers on a timer. Just comes on once a day unless I turn it on manually.

If already rounded, what’s wrong with using vise grip type lock pliers?
Sorry I forgot to add that they are also good to get nuts out in tight places.

That's one method but if the space it too small to fit a pair of those, then maybe these will work? Another tool for the toolbox for when it eventually happens.
