I drain after each use. Put a longer handle on a ball valve so it’s easy access. Blow rusty water into a 5 gallon bucket to save for a friend who wants to do one of those water challenge lol

Shoulda kept it in water instead

Over a couple days submerge in rain water in does not rust beneath water surface, throw a couple old iron files in a cup prior to rain event and prove it.

Submerge over years, well that’s a different story, lol

His looks like it was found on, and recovered from, the Titanic.

Agree on the warranty replacement depending on brand. I know a lot of people hate on Home Depot, being a big box store, but it would look like this tomorrow if it were a Husky:

I had a guy who flips houses give me his Home Depot ID. I saved a lot on paint. I want to say at least 20%. I don’t recall now.

I just looked up the number. It was his Pro Extra id number.

Sheeet, keep using that Pro # when you go. It helps his yearly sales numbers with Home Depot and you can get a discount.

I use my painters Sherwin Williams account. He has a really great discount with them since he buys so much paint every year.

I spend at most maybe $1500 year at HD, I’m sure that will increase after the property purchase.

Its either one or the other, not both

Wat?

It's a tiered system. The more you spend, the more you save. I've never gotten past tier 1, which is $5k in a year and the discount is 2% (not 5 like I said yesterday). I don't think they will let you use the Pro discount in conjunction with coupons, but I think they will let you use it in conjunction with military discount. I don't get the military one though, so I can't say for sure.

Got a call yesterday that my box was in. Unloaded it today, man this thing is heavy. Glad I had to kubota to remove from the trailer and my lift to get it off the pallet.

this box is 4” deeper than my first generation HF box, and over a foot longer even with the old setup with the side cabinet on it.
