Video Game Dorks

I'm the anti-gamer. I waste way too many hours per day as it is. Aside from a few trips to Dave & Busters and whatnot, I haven't played video games since the early 90's. My friends had OG Nintendos and we played Street Fighter and Mortal Combat. I owned an Atari 2600 when I was a kid. I played shit like QBert, Mario Bros, Frogger, etc.

Glad I am not the only one! I hardly even watch TV much, generally just cartoons on in my living room anyway. As far as wasting time goes auto forums are about it.

If you like AC 2 then you will really like AC Brotherhood, I logged about 10hrs yesterday...

Yea I've been rocking ac brotherhood when I get time to play. They fixed so many glitches from ac 2. It's a lot smoother of game play.

yeah I agree, controlling systems a little different but way better then the first one.

I'm really into Dead Space 2. Haven't had a whole lot of play time and probably won't until next week but it's definitely on the top of my list at the moment.

Yeah I got past the straight jacket part. Now I'm in some nifty Iron Man looking suit.

I'm only about halfway through the second chapter though and there's 15 chapters. Probably only put a good 2.5-3 hours in the game so far.

You have to dismember them for them to actually die. And unlike a lot of shooting games some of them have to sit there and bleed out to die. Just because you shoot them and they fall to the ground doesn't mean they're dead. Get too close to them and they'll get a few last attacks on you before they completely die.

Duke Nukem forever comes out this year, I got it pre ordered.

Blake: agreed, never by myself, and my wife hates when i play with her in the room. She calls it a movie game. she will sit and watch and scream when some of the monster things grab me.

they are talking about a pay to play style game. where if you want to try a different race it may cost you 5 dollars to unlock the "warrior" or what ever you call them. the guy in gamestop was talking to me about it. he was not happy.

I am still stoked for it!
