Heim joints, really the only way to go, your kinda limited as to the size TRE you can put in there, if it were possible I would say get some 1 ton TREs but I don't think that you could machine out the knuckle enough to get them to fit. Heims aren't that expensive once you factor in having to replace the rod ends more than once.

that is what I was hoping to avoid, but I am just being lazy. Where can I buy the reamer to enlarge the taper? What years for the FJ80's? I have no idea & the guy at Napa isn't going to know either.

Holy fucking ooouuccch in the check book batman! You have got to be shitting me. Don't get me wrong, it all looks like nice stuff, but it is high dollar. Did you see that idler arm? With bronze bushings & a welded brace, mine will be just as strong.

Poly performance, but I highly recommend going with heims. You've got access to the single most expensive part which is the tubeing necessary to build the tie rods.

Yea I wouldnt' buy theirs it seems quite over priced for what it is, get some good tubeing and a couple of joints should only cost about a hundred bucks.
