Look at this guys rear shock mounts! He used exhaust clamps! I wonder how well that will hold up?

Worse than that look at the damn leafsprings, I don't know how the main leaf isn't broken

I can't pull off BVORR this weekend. I was thinking about taking a day trip up to Hidden Falls, but I was under my truck today and it looks like I'm still leaking gear oil from my transmission. Gonna have to do something about it before we go to NM

Which end of the trans is leaking?

Better than that it appears to be 2 blocks stacked on top of one another.

I think that is the 'mold' line from when they poured them... could possibly be two though. Would not surprise me on bit.

One more thing... I don't think he has enough slack in his diff breather... look at that shit.. it looks like it could get caught up in the rear yoke. Might be an ARB line, but either way... its WAY too long.

Okay, I thought it was coming from the rear, but I just went out to look at it. Believe it or not, I think it's coming out of the top near the shifter. There's a breather up there. Besides overfilling, is there any reason it would be burping out the breather?

I saw it was leaking when we were out at Long Ranch and just figured it was all the incline decline stuff. Anyway, when I got home I checked the level and it was about right. Maybe a little high if anything which should have been a red flag to drain and refill. Now I'm concerned I got water in there somehow. Definitely going to go drain and fill that bitch tonight and see what happens.

Mmmm...no. Tabs are cheap. Weld in two tabs at each end, double sheered.

As long as its not milky then I would just drain and refill. See what happens. The steep inclines and extremely hot weather might contribute to the fluid being pushed out. But I'd just clean it all up and monitor it.

lol, you appear to have purchased tires with barbwire on the sidewall, does that make them extra tuff:rolleyes:

Not as bad as those Nittos with the flames, or the Dick Cepeks with the skulls, or even the Interco's with the bullets.
