Finally did my Rocklights.. These are just the LEDs, I will have two incandescent lights in the front corners. Let me know what you think..

Well, sorta.. I didn't use my "SPECIAL" COP spotlights on the 4 runner, couldn't really figure out where to mount them.. and it seemed like such a waste. I did mount on in the rear Spare Tire location.. obviously.. it's the brightest light there. I bought these little LED's for 2.99 each, and used 6 of them. I am going to mount the 14.99 Fog Lamps at a 35-45 degree angle in the front corners like yours. It looked very effective. The led's use so little power, I can leave them on around camp so I can see where I am steeping. sets the mood..

Yep! I have those VisionX rocklights I got last year for Christmas for the Taco.. I think I'll put them on Clyde.
Takes about 30 seconds before they do anything, but these are the ones I have.

Helped a buddy finish up his truck to head to Trees. This week he cut the rear off his 02 Taco and built a tire carrier so I've been helping his get it done. Its not 100% done, but its done enough to go wheel it. A few of you wheeled with him last November at HF
But we clearanced the fender wheels more. He cut about 12 inches off the back, cut it at an angle and then built the tubing section at the same angle. Built in mounts for his air tank and even drilled and tapped the mounts for those LED lights. Still want to add a few tie down's to the structure for ratchet straps. Also wants to add some sheet metal to the corners to cover them up better. But that can wait.

That looks good. I like what he did with the tail lights, still perfectlly street legal. Would like to see more when he gets the sheetmetal done. Maybe I should do something like this too my 4runner, I just hate the idea of NEVER being able to put the top on. That would make winter wheeling almost as unbearable as summer wheeling is.
