Fixed the broken stud on the tiregate. Drilled out the old & all the way through & pulled a new stud through. Didn't even have to weld it...

I had every intention to add a diagonal piece of 1/4", but my welder apparently didn't like the ride here.

At least I think that's whats wrong... my wiggly tester says the new receptacle is ok at 220. Need to crack the back of my welder open & make sure I've got 220 coming down the cable now...

Cant complain to much the truck made it 84k on the pass side bearing and 100k on the drivers side.

It was my fault, but 30K I did both then the passenger again at 40K (that one not my fault)
