Does anyone have a chrome Toyota emblem lying around?

I can picture the ad right now: "Low mileage truck. NOT USED AS WORK TRUCK!!! Sad to see this one go but will part with it for $29,000 cash or trade for home!" :)

Who's it that? Or did you cut a Marlon one?

Looks great!

That is the Sky Offroad diff armor http://www.sky-manufacturing.com/new/detaproduct.php?id=78 I bought two of them for Clyde... and as soon as I did Marlin released their new one (about 4 hours later actually) So I bought the Marlin and then sold Rob one of the Sky and I put the other one on the ol Taco. Should prevent shopping carts from dinging things up under there. :)

I mounted my 5 Walker Evans beadlocks on tires by hand yesterday at the shop. No tire shop will touch them so manual was the way to go. It was hard work but fun now that I know how to do it.

Replaced one UCA (new camburgs). While I was doing it I thought - I really should replace those UCA bolts. The Passenger side is not getting out with out cutting the head of the bolt off so I have no choice now.

My initial take on the Camburgs are - they have their shit together way more than AP when it comes to these babies!

Hope HB Toyota has these puppies in stock. I would also love to safety wire them instead of the consumable nuts - I guess it's the aircraft guy in me. :)

Which bolts? The ones that hold the UCA to the spindle or the big long ones that hold the UCA to the frame? I had the ones that hold the UCA to the spindle go south on me a few times. I contacted TC and they said that any 9/16ths grade 8 bolt will work as a replacement. Mine initially came with F911 grade 8 bolts which have a taller bolt head. But they are not required and TC said they now ship with standard grade 8's. I think I need to pull mine apart though, I get a very slight "clink" from time to time when backing up or pulling forward after its been sitting. I called TC and they said that the Uniballs do wear out over time and it sounds like that is what happening. Its not too bad though.

man I really love those WE beadlock wheels... I saw a silver taco up in Killen with a set of silver WE faux-locks, still a good looking wheel. But man I'd love to have a set of these. OMF-WER_01_web.jpg

Actually, I think he should put a cheap ladder rack in the back and it will sell in seconds. :)

Don't forget to add that it is perfect for water crossings and high speed desert crossings.

Probably shouldn't go so far as to say it will out run border patrol though, huh?

You should deff hint at it, just don't come right out and say it though.

The long ass ones - Ordered 3 ($5 each) from HB Toyota today. They'll be in tomorrow morning.

As I was driving I went to the stealer I bought the truck from and they had them in stock for $16 each WTF!!! I guess I will wait 'til morning.

I used Nyloks on the spindle and 'have replaced the bolt and the nuts a couple of times too.

When I ran into the problem of taking that long ass bolt out, I was very tempted to take a sawzall and make a truly priceless All Pro video but thought that laugh may not be the couple of hundred bucks I may be able to get for them! It would be priceless though!

Only if you sell it south of the border!!! ;)

Eric and I just did the un-Short Throw Shifter mod. This thing is one sloppy bitch now.

Wonder if that short throw kit will work on the hilux?
