Good, you can do mine now. Pretty sure my rearend is trashed, just drove to Bryan and its is sounding pretty rough.Fixed the Diff today, replaced the third after installing my Lock-right into it. It gets easier each time you do it..![]()

Seems like a lot of money for not much gain? Seems it's only real advantage is being able to turn it off should you get in deep water.
Its 15% gain in MPG. On a vehicle I plan to keep until the wheels fall off, its a no-brainer.

What? If you want to pull that 3rd and have a look tomorrow then let me know, Of course I'd be glad to help.
Better have plans to put batteries in that thing if you plan to keep it when they do the round up!!!![]()

Driving in a straight line?
Yep, pops several times till I get up to speed. Don't matter if it a fast or slow take off. Tourques the whole truck.
it worked just fine in 4x4 at BVORR, its real annoying. I m hoping its just the drive angle, guess I will see next weekend. It has gotten worse since the traction control light and abs lights came on?That freaking blows. What about in 4x4?
It can be a little scary when the thing locks up and the rear end jumps sideways about 6" while you're on the highway. That's why I got rid of mine, but it turned out the real problem was the drive angle. It was a good excuse to spend tons of cash on a regear and lockers though.

That's another thing, the whole truck will rock back and forth abs in park, I stood on the tire and can rock it a pretty good bit, don't remember it being like that before. You might have some other problem going on in there, check the gear pattern and pinion preload if you've got an inch pound torque wrench

It. Feels like more then that, but I chalk that up to tire size. That's because the pinion has a lot more play. You can turn it 1/2 to 3/4 either way before it will stop agains the wheels.
its just easier to bitches about it, since the problems only showed up after it was in, ill put the shims in and see if that fixes/helps the problem, otherwise I'm putting the stock shit back in.dI seriously doubt it. Seems like everyone who has issues with an auto locker blame the locker. I'd say that's only the real problem about 1% of the time.

yeah, this style seems to work just fine in a first gen, I still need to install the other one in Dads 96.Probably better than beating on your gears. You shouldn't have any trouble reselling
