That is a thought.. or just tweaked it wheeling. I used to beat the holy hell out of this thing. But that was many years ago. I've had trail rigs for 3 years.

We had it on jackstands and we ran it up to about 40 MPH.. you could feel the center of the housing vibrating like crazy. The outers seemed fine. It was odd how the vibrations didn't transfer out to the wheels. But damn the center was shacking so hard it sorta hurt your hand.

Maybe you will find the bolts to your carrier backed out like mine did. :(

You know thats what my friend said when it was chunking as it back up. He said it sounded like the carrier bolt had backed out and was hitting. I still haven't pulled the 3rd out. Waiting on ECGS to call me back.

Chase told me that they have changed their procedure. Now they ensure that they clean out the bolt holes thinking that just a little of anything (like oil) would cause that problem.

I put my truck in the body shop, to get the side fixed. They say it could be 2 weeks, but I'm thinking one. Hopefully. They put me in a new F-150. Not really liking it.

So I got my red truck started last night after i jumped it off. I checked to see is the alt was adequately charging the battery. It was showing 14.5-14.6 volts. I was thinking thats good and it is. I let the truck run to get the CO concentration up in the garage, kill the skeeters and make my eyes burn. I let it run for about 25 min to charge the battery up. I cut it off and tried to restart it. It didnt. Im thinking the battery might be taking a shit. Does that seem valid? I started it up a month ago before I left town and let it run. I may have left the acc on since I can pull the key from the ignition without pushing the button to remove the key in the off position. I may need to run it on the highway and see if it charges better and then look into another battery. Any thoughts?

I'd put it on a trickle charger overnight, see if it will take a charge.. tomorrow morning that thing should be 12.1+- volts without the truck running. (mine reads 12.07 actually) Thats a refurb'd Odyssey right? I know they are tough as tanks but maybe it was refurb'd pooprly or just thrown back on the shelf?

Not sure.. its still in the truck. Awaiting ECGS to call me back. Suppose they are super busy, which is cool. Just wish I could talk to them and determine next steps. Spoke with Chase. He said pull it and take a looksie. Fun fun.. its not hard.. it just smells like ass. Not stripper ass either.. you know the kind that smells like coconut oil and jasmine.. leaves glitter on the tip of your nose when you try to sniff it.

I had my CTEK trickle charger on it before and it got to about 12.1V. Im not going to tell you what brand I have in there now :) I know your feelings on the brand. I used the odyssey to jump it off. The pos terminal is loose on it thats why I have the other brand in there. This is the first time I have had problems starting it since I replaced the battery. Im gonna mess with it some more tonight and see what the deal is.

I hate coming home with glitter! lol

I picked up one of those borescopes last time I broke a r&p and I DO MEAN THE LAST TIME!!! lol Also, I am sitting right next to that ECGS box so let me know. :)

I talked to him about the swap.. he said that was cool. I just need to pull this thing and make sure its what it is. But that would be the fastest way to get back and going for sure.
