What have you done to your ride lately?

I stole idea from sean. I give a 100% credit to him .I got my gauges from autometer. I like them but the are a little bright at night.

And yeah hopefully they are a better fit now. I still need to workout how to get the bottom screw cover on the "oh shit" handle back on and fitting. Maybe I need to shave the top down a little?

IIRC I had to cut my covers a little. I know I had to cut on the pillar pod to make it fit better.

Which gauges did you buy Mike? Mine actually are a little dim.. which is fine by me as they are closer to your face.

Typically yes I do, I've got a spare hub that I press into a new bearing and just swap in when one fails then rebuild at my liesure getting new bearings under o'reillys warranty. I just never rebuilt it last time it failed so I need to go get a bearing.

Well fuck, got the wheel bearing all fixed up but still have a grinding noise in the front end. It's definitely rotational but goes away with the 4x4 engaged? Any ideas

Well that's weird. Usually its the other way around. The CV's always turn so that shouldn't make a difference if its in 4wd or not. CV axle connection to front diff? Front diff to front drive shaft?

Yeah, I think so too. They are a little close together to be rock lights and would require a bit of re-wire, but for the price I would recommend them as such. I have the Oznium floods http://www.oznium.com/marine-led-light and these are brighter..and cheaper!

One of these days I'll install the VisionX Tantrum rock lights I have had for over a year

Could be that with the 4WD engaged its just putting enough pressure on "whatever" to reduce the grinding.. or at least that you can hear. I'd drain the front diff and check the fluid and magnetic drain plug.

Did that diff is clean, well no chunks at least, just the usual glittery looking crap stuck to the end of the plug. I'm starting to think one of the bearings is getting some noise and when loaded is smooth. Pinion bearing fits this scenario well, but is also somewhat of a problem as I don't have the means to replace it.

LOL.. just one. Comes with 8 pods (each with 6 LED's), and a switch, as well as some wire holders which I did not incorporate.
