What have you done to your ride lately?

ATO's gonna be doin' the fab work for the relocation. We're going to have to figure something out for the resi's too I think...they're fucking HUGE.

23" collapsed, 38" extended. Truck is 24.5" between shock eyelets at ride height, I measure 5" of room below the current eyelet into the wheel, so we'll drop the bottom mount as low as we can go and probably raise the top mount an inch or two. Should let us mount the shocks around 29 - 30" at ride height, giving about 6.5 to 7" uptravel and ~8" downtravel. My axle only has about 13 inches of travel at the shock axis, so even outboarding a bit to get the bottom mount into the wheel, 15in should leave plenty of room to breathe.

Suspension as it is now has about 6" of uptravel and 7" of downtravel with the shocks off along the same axis.

The idea is to stuff 'em under there without raising the top mount any more than necessary to avoid the tires eating at the shock body.

Edit: FYI (not sure if you care or not), I intend to credit you with the design if anyone asks. Kevin's an excellent quality fabricator close to me, and I know he'll do a fantastic job of putting everything together, but I like to give credit where it's due.

Finally got my duals completly assembled. Just gotta get that heavy bitch installed. I cycled through all of the multiple gear combinations. Seems and feels good. Low/low is going to be a beast!

You'll love it.........I like watching the Jeep crew around here bounce through obsticales, half break, then I crawl through them at Idle.........You'll love it.

Planning a flat belly?

I already have 4.7s in the truck now. They are great. The flexibility of duals will be awesome.

I have been thinking about a flat belly. I just really need to figure a plan of action. But realistically it wouldn't match the fatty driving the truck :)

LX just started misfiring all of a sudden while I was driving it today. Limped it home. Have some smoke coming out of the tail pipe, but it smells like unburned fuel and not oil, not 100% sure on that though. I pulled the plugs since I needed to change them anyway. 2 of them were fouled up real good (adjacent). Tomorrow I'm gonna try new spark plug wires, distributor rotor, and cap. Hopefully that does it

Also found a leaking vaccum line which I fixed, but that didn't solve the problem.

Not likely. Was it burning oil previously?

Head Gasket? 2 adjacent cylinders?

Well that sucks. I guess you could at least start by checking the compression of those two cylinders. Once again, sorry to hear! :(
