What have you done to your ride lately?

Well that sucks. I guess you could at least start by checking the compression of those two cylinders. Once again, sorry to hear! :(

What really sucks is that I'm supposed to leave town this weekend. Ordered my parts from Amazon and they should come in next Monday. Been thinking I should get another car, might go do that this week.

I sent a message to a friend with the same ride... I think he replaced his head gasket. Do you want a quick phone call tomorrow with him or a three-way - not that kind! But seriously, he's the crew chief on the race deal and a REAL NICE guy that is very helpful. I will let you know if he replaced his.

Cool, thanks. Head gasket issues on the 4.5L aren't uncommon.

I had a failure on a bimmer onetime that taught me the importance of changing and flushing anti-freeze. It was like an EDM cut a small path in the head gasket between the two cylinders! :(

Okay, I'm recalling now that it would miss a stroke or 2 about once a month since I owned it. Pretty sure it's gonna be the ignition system

Sounds good! :)

Oh how I would love someone to cut bedsides 1" longer and then bend them with a 1/8-1/4" radius so that they wouldn't flop around! :)

Are those flower cut-out lightening holes? Aloha!

Eric went a little overboard with his new dimple die toy, guess he needed somebody to test it out on lol

I better watch how high I cut these since the front mounting holes were a good 1/2" off rofl

You talking to me?
Got the rear drivers side window back on track and fixed the driver seat on the lc, now I can adjust it how I want to instead of being smashed up against the steering wheel

Follow up on this, fucked with the passenger seat some but I couldn't get it to stay aligned so I just set it back as far as I could and left it, fucking plastic gears are stupid. Horn and blinkers work now (fuse was missing for some reason) so all in all the minor things are all fixed so now I can come off the ledge of D-Tardem.

nice man. Ill be the first to welcome you out of the Taco club

Thanks bud

I've now replaced the plugs, distributor cap and rotor, and used some spark plug wires I had laying around for the 4runner. Only thing I can think of now is that it's not getting enough compression for ignition. Gonna do a compression test in a couple hours when the sun goes down a bit.

Any other ideas?
