I just need to figure out where I'm going to put the solenoid. My front locker solenoid is under the hood... don't really want it there. I suppose tool box it will go.

Hope so. I told him what I had and he said there was only one for it.

Yeah I'm stoked. Now my weak link is my driveshaft which I seem to get rebuild about every 12-15k miles. Next time in finding a different driveline shop.

With that long of a drive line I would do away with the CV all together or at least run a 1350 CV.

I need to do something with the driveshaft. Last time they built it they used non-serviceable u-joints. Wtf?

I'm happy with the locked 8.4. Only been stupid with it a couple times, held up so far.

Oh I've been exceptionally hard on mine lots of stupid pedal with 37s, oddly enough I never broke anything once I moved on from 33s

I'd be willing to bet its all 1310 joints which have no place in a heavy passed truck like an armored up Tacoma.

Maybe so. I need to measure it

My bus has been babied every weekend I didn't beat the crap out of it - Have the original u-joints (re-tubed once) and I'm still going good. Sure I may have a slight vibe from time to time but it has yet to fail me. Plus if I have the lady in the truck, I think she digs any vibes she can get. :)

Stockers were 1350s very strong that's why I'm reusing mine just getting it retubed and swapping to a 14 bolt yoke
