Seriously thinking about it. My back still kinda scares me. It only seats 2 and the wife likes to wheel and the little one has expressed an interest as well. So its good for just me but I want to take them as well. Maybe I'll just dial it back to wheeling easy shit in the taco. If the wife is there she'll be the voice of reason and keep me from doing stupid shit. Like night wheeling

Spool or grizzly locker and yea it adds up but nearly as much as the 60 stuff 700 bucks for the Reid knuckles 200 a side for the king pin rebuild stuff and on and on, wishing I would have just kept my d44 and been happy

Probably a Detroit. I have had good luck with them so far.

Not buying the Reid Racing knuckles or inners too much money. think they were gold plated or something.

Its the steering arms 300, y-linkage 300, chromo axles 4-600, hubs 300, locker 3-600, gears 220, diff cover 120, Hydro assist ram 200, hanger and shackles 300, and all that stuff that gets expensive (at least the ones I want)

Once the rear goes in, I will sell the ifs rear, pull the front axle and sell the wheels/tires since I want 17's.

I'm also getting rid of my 03 Prairie 4x4 650 V-Twin since I don't ride it any more. That SHOULD pay for the front axle and at least a set of 40's (I hope).

Sadly I'm stuck with needing new knuckles both of mine are cracked beyond what I'm willing to try and repair and both inners are twisted.

Guys just finished up tinting the windows on my 81. Looks pretty good. Just went with some 33% on the sides and 20% on the back. Nothing crazy.

Got a new radio for the Taco. I currently have the DNX890HD but it is not compatible with the newer iOS devices, plus the Garmin portion of was acting up a bit. Soo.. time to upgrade. DNX891HD. Not sure what I'll do with the 890... it won't fit in the 81. Might save it for a unit in the "someday I want to build an off-road trailer". New one is pretty bad ass... hope to get it installed this weekend.

Added a little boom to the red truck tonight. A single Punch 10 and an older Alpine 5 Ch amplifier .
Cost = free.

Sounds pretty decent. I need to play with the settings on my head unit some more tomorrow. It's a little late to be bassin in the garage.

bad ass bullbar and tape player

Wheel wells have typical rust areas but the frame is super clean. Needs some TLC but I picked it up for cheap. I will start a new thread on it shortly.
