Crank Bolt is kicking my ass, easily the most difficult bolt I have had to deal with. Check out the damages..
I have now broken a third deep 19mm socket. Good Grief.. I just can't help my self, get bored.. go out and pull on it and break sockets. Need a torch for Christmas...
Has anyone ever broken three sockets on the same f-ing bolt? 1/2" drive even.. what the hell? I have a theory as to why I am snapping them.. I have to use both hands on the breaker bar, and with a deep socket and a somewhat rounded bolt.. they are probably leaning to one side causing them to crack from force they are not built to withstand.. Guess I will need to remove the radiator, and hit it with the impact directly.. other than heat, any other ideas?

I'm having a bit of a challenge with my bud builts. If anyone gets a chance, could you take a picture of how the front one goes on?
I am also finding it very hard to bend the 90 degree bends in my bend bud built (last one). I bent the middle one back all the way on a 90 mph romp across a dry lake bed.

Changed my oil, oil filter, and rear diff oil today. Hard to believe that I've driven 5k miles since october. Also replaced the silverstar ultra piece of shit headlight bulb. Burned out on me last night. LMAO, Rob knows my pain. Also cleaned up some audio wiring to keep it out of sight. And I painted my recovery shackle.

I would imagine that worn starter contact problems would start out as an intermittent problem and progressively get worse. I still think that replacing them is the first step and like you said, if it doesn't cure the problem then you are still a step ahead because we both know they will fail eventually.
