What have you done to your ride lately?

Looks like the passenger car/truck version is $500. That’s a bit more coin than I want to spend, but that one has a lot of functions and looks very useful and good ratings except the updates for the scanner for newer year car models, the firmware upgrade cost $125, but most folks who drive new cars usually don’t hit third party shops until after their car warranties run out anyways.

These are the three I have.

Light duty small bus, truck/car scanner

All three of these get the job done and do everything but reprogram ECU/TPS, but your gonna pay out the ass like I did. If I were you I’d look for a deal on amazon for an OTC brand scanner, they have a tablet version that I bought for my shop in Spring and the love it. I also just bought one for my Livingston shop for around $600 and it does everything my high $$ do except for lack of on-line connectivity/Diagnostic back up.

Go ahead add this to your calendar, update the firmware before Dec 13, 2019, save $125 for another year or two.

Luckily for me I let the company pay for updates on the scanners. The ones for Snap-on are usually $800-1200 lol

I put on that fast idle jumper I ordered earlier this week. Simple to install, only took about 2 min.

You like that lol
I got one on my tailgate too, scorpion is the name Ford gave the 6.7 because of the turbo layout

Installed the remote start kit from www.12volt.solutions.com
Fairly simple install (considering they changed up the way it hooks up from the directions they sent/install vid) works like a champ and will work with the high idle.

I also ordered a leveling kit from stage 3 that comes with bilstein shocks and replacement coil springs instead of a spacer block. They don’t offer rear shocks so I ordered a set of bilsteins from 4wheel parts too.

My buddy just installed Bilstein 5100's on his F350 and said they weren't any improvement over the OEM Rancho shocks he had on there.

Well mine is not a FX4 so I don’t even have Rancho

One good thing about a cold-ish rainy day, I shit all the doors on my shop and work on my shit lol

Put on that Ready lift leveling kit I ordered and had my new tires mounted. Ended up with about 5 1/2 lift in the front counting tires and about 2 1/2 in the rear with just tires. I’ll take it to the alignment shop in the morning.

Man I love the way those new Fords look. I see a single cab longbed in my driveway in a few years.

Good luck finding a single cab, damn things are like Sasquatch dropping’s. It took me forever to find a damn base model XL, and they use to be a dime a dozen. Everyone is buying lariat trim packages and above it seems, even the few XLT’s I found had bs I didn’t want like carpet.

Yeah I like the looks of them as well. Really curious to see what their new 7.3 gasser does for HP and MPG. A F-250 Lariat is still on my list of trucks to test drive when the time comes to buy one. Its a short list.

My boss just sold his 2015 F250 with the 6.2 gas in it. His was loaded. Heated/cooled seats etc etc, hard to believe it was just an XLT. It got really shitty fuel mileage, but it was a crew cab short box FX4. It had less then 40k on it and Carmax gave him around $39k I believe.

Yeah, I've been window shopping (as always) and I havent even found a dealership with a single cab on the lot other than C&C. Seems to be a special order thing mostly.

Well I'm not really window shopping yet... just keeping track of the 2019 options.

I’ve only seen a few single cab 1-tons on the road, can’t remember ever seeing one on a lot. Hell I never even see 1/2 ton single cabs anymore
