i think they are using a generic auto salvage lookup because all the engines i looked up were 990. 4cyl 6 cyl 2.4,2.7,3.0,3.4,4.0,4.7 so i doubt they will sell a 4.7 for 990 when they have a 2.7 for the same cost.

Yep, thanks Todd, I don't know why it never crossed my mind that your extra motor had the booster & MC. I just sent the other guy a PM trying to back out on him. Hope he is not pissed. He said he was going to pull it out of his truck tonight so I am crossing my fingers that he looks at it like no harm no foul. Good thing I had not pay-pal'd him yet. I guess if he is mad then there really isn't anything he can do about it, but we had a verbal agreement that I was going to buy it & I will feel bad about not holding up my end.

Thanks and yes, Definatly going to be making some skids, but that will be awhile. I need to get around to building bumper first so that I can tie them together & I can't build bumpers untill I get the body / drivetrain lift done. I still use my stock skid, I just took it off to install the Heims.

Score one for me, My buddy brought these 5 KC Daylighters over for me on Friday, they where on his truck when he bought it. He said he didn't think they worked, but I figured they might just need new bulbs or where not wired properlly. To my suprise they all work. You can't beat 5 free daylighters. I will probably try and get new rubber lens seals, clean then up & paint the housings. I hate chrome & 2 of them have some surface rust. Anybody know of a good way to paint over chrome? I was thinking of scuffing them up good & getting some self etching primer & high temp flat black paint. For the record I have no idea what I am going to do with these.

I went shopping last Saturday. Rode with Keith to Dallas and went to the 4runner House. Owner is a YotaTech member 86sr54x4 & has nothing but 4runner & pick-up parts. He let me cut the rear quarter panel off of on of his 4runners. It has a little cancer but not in places that I need. I also grabbed up a good tailgate with glass and working motor & a tail light. Time to get started fixing the body damage.

take them to the shop and bead blast them i did it alot at the harley shop takes a little while but the paint sticks on well
