Would be nice for anyone who goes to the beach alot...Use them as REALLY bright rock lights.![]()
I MIGHT have a spare pair for you Andrew.
I was thinking I could mount 2 on the front bumper. Might even slap them on my chrome bumper for now & then mount them permantly when I get around to building a real front bumper. Then hang a single upside down from the roll bar pointed backwards. First thing is I need to un-chrome them & buy some new rubber lense seals.
.Pointing them backwards could be pretty Sweet. Especially if you have tailgaters,.
yeah mine are 130's, I'm down to one smiley coverYou might want to replace the rear facing bulbs with something a little lower wattage.. same housing, just lower wattage so its easier to see up close. IIRC those Daylighters are 130 watt bulbs or something like that. Maybe some 35-55 watt bulbs might be a little easier to use. Not to mention easier on the battery and if you should accidentally touch the housing on one. I used to have 4 of them on my rollbar (old school style) and I had the smiley face covers... I've melted the covers before. Know what I mean Vern?![]()

they have some lower because those claer covers I have are rated for a much lower wattage light.Good idea Sean. I had a pair on my 2K taco & they did get hot as fuck. I was going to br buying some replacement parts & covers for the anyways so I will see what bulbs are avaliable.

I need them for the road rocks since I drive mine on the highway.Fuck it, they will prob just get broken anyways, If they where cheap then maybe, but for the $$ I think I will just roll with out covers.

I refuse to advertise for Pro-comp (4wheel parts) on the front of my truck.
