Yeah, right now I have a temporary solution. I have it in my head that in the next 6 to 8 months to get a house with a garage, a welder, and actually start fab'ing up my own stuff. I will use ideas I find on the web, use my banged up and busted stuff to create templates and then create stuff that will hold up to the abuse I seem to put my stuff through.
The worst part is that even with good spotting, smooth driving, and not using the determination tactic to get over things, my skids, are beat to hell.
The idea that I am kicking around are skids that are curved vs. bent or welded. Looking at my All-pro IFS the majority of the impacts and damage are where the skid is bent creating a sharp rock grabber, if it was rounded in that area it might hold up better. Any thoughts?
