Excellent! Looks good. Now go get some paint on those axle tubes. :D

yeah, thats tonight. Its one of the things I can do in a condo...

Gotta love how just over a year of driving can totally destroy the paint on the axle tube.... But the upside is I found out that I have a crapload of undercoating on the body and frame. The welder really didn't like spending hours scraping the undercoat off so he could weld on my sliders

That reminds me, I need to touch up the paint on my punisher emblem and get rid of that crome on my grill.

So after I got her all cleaned up and looking good for the show and shine (http://www.forum.ct4wd.com/showthread.php?t=2014&highlight=Heninger I went wheeling on Sunday.

It wasn't too bad till the downpour happened and everything turned to shit.... ended up side swiping 2 trees between my sliders and front tires so both doors and BOTH front quarter panels have dints now..... but it adds character right?

a few pics from the day:

but with a little elbow grease, and some pry tools the doors are not rubbing and the fenders are pressed into the wheel wells anymore

man that sucks, I like a little mud sometimes but fuck that shit you had to deal with.

those are surprisingly ok... its the pulleys and tensioners for the belts in the motor that suffered. I had to get a pulley replaced but get this, covered by Warranty :D

We did a bit of draining on the pits but they were still up to the body on my truck. The first one wasn't too bad, made it through, 2nd one was a bit deeper, but made it through, the 3rd one was a bitch, and i dropped in but didn't have the clearance to get out and ended up having to get winched out.

The blue TRD sport was stock height, on balding street tires. Now that was a bitch to get through.....

So yeah as some of you know, the passenger side wheel bearing ended up being shot, but got it replaced under warranty :D

After the wheel bearing was fixed I of course had to get back out on the trails :D

Unfortunately I didn't get many pics of my truck cause its hard to snap pics and wheel, so I took them of others

I also found out on the last run that the All-Pro skid is tougher then originally thought, it saved my ass.
Coming down from one stop (image above) I ended up rolling over a ledge, then straight down on a pretty big rock, the skid took the full impact and bounced me over it. Trucks fine, Skid now has some love marks.

Its about a 2 inch deep gash, but didn't puncture the skid, and thanks to the skid I made it home.

I gave TheKidCatcher my old AllPro IFS skid. I had to weld up some tears in it... but it will protect him and the price was right. "free". :)

So thankful I have the skid. Now I just need to start adding in more amour as I go. The front bumper is high on my list, I want the clearance, the protection, and to stop having to worry about rubbing on the front bumper cover.

I had to modify the plastic in the front wheel wells to stop a rub, nothing a heat gun and knife wouldn't fix :D

Who's truck is that in the center of this pic... I just picked up my RTT and looking at ideas for a similar (yet lighter) design to mount the tent to...

This is Freeze's truck (some of you may know him from TW, and the full build is up on CT4WD.com) He had it made by a guy up in Calgary who designed it in Autocad then produced it. If you want I can grab his contact info and forward it to you if you want.

There is also another way to mount a larger tent (I think its the Serengeti) where it is flush mounted above the bed. Looks like this

Thanks!!! I have already photoshopped his new wheels onto his rig in my mind.

I guess the flush thing wouldn't be bad if I containerized all my stuff. I like the idea to be able to access things in my bed.

Thanks again!

no worries, glad to help out. You guys give me ideas ALL THE TIME (now I just need the money to start working on them :D)

Sean, you will actually get a laugh out of this but a few guys up here have painted their trucks white to join the club, lol. Of the CT guys and gals I wheel with there are only 5 white trucks (4 2nd Gens, 1 first Gen) and everyone has a different configuration so its interesting to see where one excels over others.
