Cool, hurry up and put it on. I'm trying to decide if I'm gonna go that route. ;)

I'm interested to see how it turns out as well. I'm pretty much set on a front bumper from Hefty Fabworks if I decide to go that far with my Runner. But odds are I'll do a hidden winch mount if anything at all.

I was waiting to get the suspension done before I added the bumper. Now the suspension is done I can do some more serious shopping for a winch but that may have to wait a few more months. I did go back and read the install instructions for the bumper and it looks like it may be easy to take off to add a winch later so I may try to install it in a few weeks.

I really like the whole concept of those 'bumpers.' :)

The hidden winch system that Clay and the xoverland crew used was slick.

Ill be watching for the install and how smooth it goes. Evidently the new warn Xeon winch fits nicely. No solenoid relocation. What are your impressions of the Icon stage 1? I am torn between the Icon stage 2 with tubular UCAs and the toy tech BOSS system with some light racing UCAs.

So far I love the Icon. The Boss kit got good reviews and I almost went that route but an Icon group buy changed my mind. I read too many mixed reviews about the LR UCA for to spend money on them. My plan is to leave the suspension alone unless I need to change something. Running no sway bar and handles great.
That is good to know about the Xeon winch. I really like those but had good luck with a Superwinch in the past that was less than half as much. No solenoid relocate is awfully tempting.

Another wheeling trip and this one is post lift and bumper. Very pleased with how it performed. Only got hung up on 1 trail that I tried and really don't have anything that I want to change right now.
Tires, lift, sliders and skid have all performed great together.
Next focus as of now is a roof rack. Prinsu is a contender for the rack but will also explore having Rob at Trailworx make one.

Climbing up the last bit of Politician at Gilmer. Locker made this much easier compared to the last time doing it open/open.

Dude if you gave no fucks in a new 4R. Kudos. It did look pretty tame in the pic though. Pics are shit for giving the true story though.

Got a little work done on the rig today. I have been searching for a way to install a mount for a tablet to run GPS when I am off the beaten path.
Came across some people using various pieces from Ram Mount to secure tablets so that is what I did.
I had an Acer A100 that I really dont use so I put in a 32G memory card for downloading maps and secured the 1" ball mount. The ball mounted very easily. Drilled 2 small holes in the trim panel and secured with some stainless hardware. Other than drilling 2 holes I had to trim a little from the inside of the trim piece. A knife worked perfect to shave off some plastic so the washer had enough room to snug down.

Also installed the new stickers.
