Pretty much the same is said for everything. But at least they brought the Tacoma up to a more modern platform.

I like the 2-seat configuration. I think that would be cool with a manual trans. I’m also interested in how the hybrid will drive with a manual.

There have been a few people doing some rocks and desert trails with full EVs and hybrids. So far the results have not been bad for capabilities; just range concerns. Range concerns are real for an ICE motor as well; just quicker to resolve.

Oh yeah, big cargo like my 75 lbs loaded fridge... its gonna put a helluva strain on that unibody bullshit. Toyota has not produced a quality frame in 35 years. I like the name Toyota Not Given A Fuck frame... as it has been for 3 generations.

Rough to see a failure like this within the first month of use. I would not expect a failure just riding trails.

I saw that video when it came out... it might as well have been someones driveway with snow and ice on it. Not really "hard core" at all. The engineers that developed that thing need to do the honorable thing and commit Hari-kari.

I saw one in person not long ago. I had to do a double take because it looked like a mini tundra. The body lines were very busy. I'm sure it will grow on me, but I'm not rushing out to buy one.
