Just sucks because it is $40 more and its the same damn thing. Not to mention there are Sears all over... or at least in quite a few places.

Yeah but Batteries Plus is a dealer for them and there's a fair amount of those around.

I didn't see them (other than a couple Platinum Marines) on Sears site.

Thats the route I did Drew, one normal and one deep cycle. However with the solar panel up top I wish I had just done two normal ones. The warranty is longer and the specs are pretty much the same. They are the same design after all.

My group 65 under the hood is 930 CCA with 135 RC. Marine group 34M in back is 880 CCA and 135 RC. If I had more room in the toolbox at the time (which I do now that I swapped out the Oasis compressor) I would have went with the group 31M for the toolbox. Its 1150 CCA and 205 RC. But for running everything I have they have proven to be plenty. With the solar panel keeping the rear one topped off even off-grid its a good solution. I just think that two of the group 65's would probably work the same (maybe better) and had a better warranty.

OK, so while I was gone for hte last month, the battery in my Heep has died and will not take a charge..... soooo, it's time for a replacement. I know y'all swear by the Die Hard Platinum, but aparently the jeep is not cool enough for them to make one that fits it (or so says the internet). Do y'all have any other reccomendations? Vato zone has their Duralast Platinum AGM for about $160, but I am afriad it will be crap because I am sure it is on the shelf right next to the flame and dragon decals and the windshield wipers that hold two blades.

This is what I use in the trail rig. Now that I have my charging system fixed, it works great.

Good deal. It's going in my DD and I just need to get it back on the road, but figured this is as good a time as any to upgrade.

The diehard platinum that I put in my Tacoma doesn't fit either. I just modified the wiring harness and battery mount to make it fit.

I just replaced mine after nearly 2 years of constant daily use. My E-fan and sound system are hard on the battery. I love the 8 year replacement warranty more than the battery. :)
